The foundation of the company in the year 1906 was initiated
by Deutsch Gold und silberscheidenanstalt under the commercial name of "akciova spolecnost pro zpracovan draselnych louhu v koline"(public limited company processing potassium lies in kolin).
The main stream of business was heavy chemistry - production
Of potassium cyanide and sodium cyanide, ferrocyanides,
Liquid hydrogen cyanide, and ammonium sulfate. Hydrogen cyanide was
Produced using buehov's method from molasses distiller's draff.

Further development
April 1945 the factory was destroyed during an air raid.

1947 production was fully recovered.

1949 draslovka, a national company, gained full independence

1992 lucebni zavody kolin, a. S. A joint-stock company, was established.

1994 lz kolin a. S. Was divided in two entities and lucebni zavody draslovka kolin, a joint-stock company, began to operate as an independent company.

Products of lz draslovka with an important position on market-
95% of lz draslovka's products are exported to nearly all countries in the world. These products are used in mining industry(gold mining and precious metals), electroplating industry, washing powder industry, textile industry, and pharmacy.

Draslovka has ISO 9001/2000 certificate, which was issued by loyd's insurance register and important production units have been audited by big customers/companies.

Draslovka is presently applying for a processing project responsible care- ISO 14000. Certification is assumed in 2004/2005 and project sefety business of which certification is assumed in the second half of 2004.
